After the holidays....

I know there's a few people in the world who are dying to know how my 'think yourself thin' thing went over the holidays...

Well, normally at the holidays, I would eat all my mama's food I want and not worry about it! The maybe 10lbs. you get back for this are well worth how good it feels, at least to me.

This year I only put 5lbs. back on so I'm at 165. I'm sure that under normal circumstances it would have been more but this year I did not see my mama's table near enough! :(((

I've had a lot of death to deal with this Christmas. I'm already in such a weird place, and it's made everything more weird to be missing people that have made heaven richer recently.

So, I prevail. It's New Year's Day and it's time to get back to living!
Time to do some yoga every day!! Take vitamins!!! And feel good!!!

Happy New Year to everyone! I want this to be the best year ever for everyone!!!

Think Yourself Thin Continued...

First off, I apologize for my absence. It's really kind of sad that I haven't been inspired to talk about anything lately. Nothing good at least. My life is a little chaotic at the moment, but hopefully before long, I can be normal again... maybe.

I wanted to follow up on this because I told you that I would let you know from the previous article, when I reached 160lbs. Well, it's today! I got on the scales this morning and weighed 160lbs. probably for the first time since I was 13 years old.

I immediately wanted to see the date on the previous post. 8/10. Today is 10/16. So, in the course of two months, without doing anything differently, I've lost another 10 lbs. I continue to try to eat right most of the time and always in moderation. (I'm going to eat chocolate a few times a week, as well as a few of my other vices.) I continue to do my somewhat lame version of exercise which includes pilates or yoga type stuff 2-3 times a week. (And I'm not very good at it!)

So there. Another 10lbs. are gone. Now let's see how long it takes me to get to 150! And by the way, I won't be skipping anything at Christmas except for second helpings!

I would really love for others to try this and give some feedback!
Good luck!

If you missed the first post, it's two back.

Bob Proctor's New Book!

Bob Proctor is, I think, one of the great 'thinkers' of our time. He is a 'new-age' teacher, but at the same time, not too froo-froo. Anybody can understand him. And I love to hear him talk about things because then it seems more like Grandpa telling me something.

His new book, 'It's Not About the Money', as you might expect teaches us that it's not about money. If we're doing everything else correctly, money will come with it. However, money shouldn't be our motivator. This is a lesson that we probably all need to read continually.

It's so easy to get caught up in our physical lives... chasing a buck... that we often forget what's really important to us. We forget that we're so much more than a sack of flesh!

With Proctor's new book, 'It's Not About the Money', he helps to shepherd us back to the way we should be thinking.

I think anyone could enjoy and use this one to better themselves! Easy!
